Club Committees

Joining a Committee is one of the best ways to get involved and meet other members. To join, members can simply attend a meeting or contact the Committee Chair to get involved.

Legislative Committee

The Legislative Committee analyzes and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors and general membership regarding all ballot propositions, as well as any legislation of special interest to the Club.

 

Local Elections Committee

The Local Elections Committee offers members the opportunity to participate in city elections. Members are encouraged to become familiar with local issues, elected officials, and prospective candidates. During election years, the Local Elections Committee conducts impartial candidate assessments, via questionnaires and candidate interviews, to determine which candidates the Club should endorse.


Asian and Pacific Islander Engagement Committee

This committee is focused on engaging and building relationships with the Asian and Pacific Islander community in Orange County, and engaging like-minded community leaders who share the Club's core principles.

 

Education Reform Committee

Education reform is a major goal of the Lincoln Club. The Education Reform committee seeks to bring about change by grooming and electing pro school choice conservative candidates to local/regional school boards. 

 

Faith Leaders Engagement Committee

This committee is focused on engaging and building relationships with the large and diverse faith communities in Orange County. Members of this committee work with clergy of all faiths to connect them with resources that keep them informed and engaged with the civic process and drive voter turnout.

 

Latino Engagement Committee

This committee is focused on engaging and building relationships with the Latino community in Orange County, and identifying like-minded community leaders who share the Club's core principles.

 

Lincoln Women's Leadership Committee

The LWLC is comprised of Club members who care about engaging women voters, in particular Independent or Democratic-leaning voters who may be open to conservative ideas and candidates. The LWLC is perfect for those interested in bringing the conservative message in a smart and convincing way to women voters.

 

Student Outreach Committee

The Student Outreach Committee seeks to reach, engage, and develop current and prospective student leaders. Through targeted collaboration, this committee will help to expand the membership and influence of existing student groups in Orange County. This committee's goal is to build a foundation for the future success of the Republican Party in Southern California.

 

Water Committee

The Water Committee seeks to inform and engage the members of the Club on the critical issues facing water agencies in Orange County and the potential solutions. The committee will also serve the role of conducting candidate assessments, via questionnaires and candidate interviews, to determine which candidates the Club should endorse for local/regional water boards.
