The Lincoln Club has several committees that are open to all members. Committees are a great way to meet other members and to get involved in various Club activities. To join, members can simply attend a meeting or contact the committee chairman to get involved.
The Communications Committee is responsible for communicating the Club’s activities, initiatives, and positions to outside audiences, as well as helping foster communication about Club activities amongst the general membership, through the Club’s website, newsletter, press releases, and other communications materials. Meets jointly with the CPPC Committee the last Wednesday of each month at 5:15 pm. Location: Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, 3161 Michelson Dr., 12th Floor, Irvine. Chairman: Michael Capaldi.
California Public Policy Center
The CPPC is an independent non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to promoting a pro-prosperity agenda based on smaller government, choice in education, responsible environmental policy, and jobs for Californians. The CPPC operates three websites (CalPublicPolicyCenter.org,UnionWatch.org and PensionTsunami.com) and plans to use free media and paid media to educate potential voters on issues such as education, relief of business from regulation, and making common sense choices about environmental policy. Recent research topics that have enhanced the CPPC’s brand include a public-employee compensation study on city workers in Irvine, Anaheim and Costa Mesa, which was recently featured on the front page of the OC Register’s Local section. The CPPC will meet jointly with the Communications Committee on the first Fridays of the month. Chairman: Mark Bucher.

In this effort, the Committee works closely with the Republican Party of Orange County. Meets the first Wednesday of each month at noon. Location: Farmers & Merchants Bank, 4695 MacArthur Blvd, Ste. 130, Newport Beach. Chairman: Dr. James Huang.
The Program Committee is responsible for organizing breakfast, lunch and dinner programs held throughout the year for members, their spouses or guests, and guests who are interested in membership. The Program Committee has full responsibility for engaging the speakers, setting dates, and finalizing arrangements for the programs. A fee is collected for each event to cover costs. Meets on an as-needed basis. Chairman: David Bahnsen.

The committee meets on the last Tuesday of the month at noon at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher. Chairwoman: Teresa Hernandez.
